Narrow aisle forklifts work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks use best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations which meet a variety of operations and a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with strong deceleration and acceleration. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds really improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to lessen operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the load to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
