Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The company began crane production during 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and makes 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction needs.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller businesses working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are among their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any building or construction project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are specially designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
