Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to transport things and materials around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
To be able to avoid loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Machine should be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be stacked carefully to be able to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be in the middle to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet ahead of you as the momentum can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop abruptly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
