Used Carelift Zoom Boom Inglewood

Used Carelift Zoom Boom Inglewood

CareLift Equipment has been engineering and making excellent rough terrain forklifts since the year 1962. Each and every day the company strives to help their consumers reach their objectives and deliver value since they know the bottom line is reliability and performance.

There are 2 general types of boom lifts. These units are articulated boom lifts and straight boom lifts. Often, these units are hydraulically powered. Most often straight booms are the great choice for tasks which need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment can rotate 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom is able to be raised vertically to below horizontal. Since the operator can steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is completely extended, it is a very versatile machinery. These units come in diesel, propane or gas configurations as well as 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive.

The articulated boom lifts are utilized for tasks which need to reach up and over obstacles so as to gain access. These specialized lifts are utilized for jobs that are not easily completed by straight telescopic booms. These lifts are almost identical to the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the ability of the boom to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to enable it to bend in a variety of different directions allowing it to move easily around any objects within the work site.

Several heavy-duty boom lifts come outfitted with outriggers so as to maintain stability whilst the boom lift is fully extended. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra safety and confidence. Correct training is necessary before operating boom lifts so as to guarantee the operator, the jobsite and everyone working in the vicinity stays safe.

The boom lift allows for jobs needing a lot of man power to be completed in a lot less time. These machinery have revolutionized the material handling industry and have really increased production.
