End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance features that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent choice for applications that need frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by various companies that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also include a hydraulic system that allows the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
