Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
Terex provides Genie DC and Bi-Energy equipment that are emission-free and provide quiet operation for the most sensitive work applications. For instance, in industrial situations where the equipment should travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and flexibility of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machine.
Important features which this combination provides is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. As well, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
Proportional lift controls and drive controls also provide smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system provides emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates ninety degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machines by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine up, out and over positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach offered by this model is the best in the market.
Diesel engine machinery on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are great in narrow or small places. In addition, they provide excellent torque, terrain and grade maneuverability and utmost power. The diesel engines are generally quiet also. Most models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.
High ground clearance is provided in 2 or 4 wheel drive models, whilst the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models too.
